With uncompromising honesty and great skill, the narrator manages to describe the complexity of this life, the emotions involved, the limits of humanity, loneliness, courage and fear, and the price of sacrifice and renunciation required of the shadow warriors, who remain among us in humble silence. The fascinating events of life, wrapped in love for nature, for the desert, and lead the reader on an inward path, to solitude, to silence in contemplation, to the depth of connecting a person to the rock of his existence. Into these storms a wonderful love, too short, for a one-of-a-kind woman... From the real-life stories about her, it's hard not to fall in love with her too, and mourn her so painful death. A book that is a whole world, especially for me. I remained captivated, questioning, embracing a glimpse of life's wisdom (and a few words in our country), swept away by landscapes and love, longing for the desert, for a specific acacia tree, for a certain Pinjan that to remove it from the fire, one holds a white cap in his hand... and for this man.

I read in one breath. The book brought me back to familiar places and situations from my life. Raised a smile, excited and sad at the same time. Rich writing!
